Great point. Most people I encounter either are in industries unaffected and they are just living their lives so they don't know the full extent, or they just look at it all like "WTF?!" and roll their eyes. These lunatics are NOT the majority of people. At all.

@WorthlessWinner "I mostly agree with the actual sentiment of your post" The world needs more of this. I'm as guilty as anyone of getting pedantic so I can't see the forest for the trees. Grosses me out when I realize I'm doing it. Let's go with the actual message itself, and it's okay to not be 100% on board with every single part of it. If I can agree with 80-90% of your sentiment, that's good enough for me to give it full praise.

@zb5032 C'mon man, it's a good thing to find out you aren't alone and that other people feel the way you do. Him saying that he's happy to "see somebody" like him means he clearly is exposed to all sorts of other opinions already that are not like his own. Agreeing with someone you come across is not the same as "deepening the plunge into the echo chamber".
