  2. Mayors work hard. They don't take years off an campaign as a rule. The more local your government gets, the more actual work they do. They aren't meeting with lobby groups and doing fundraisers and riding a bus with stickers on it all month long like the federal ones.

  3. That was where I checked out. I didn't care much for her before but I'll give anyone a second chance. Neil DeGrass Tyson was insufferable one episode (comments reflected it) but I'm not writing the guy off, obviously. I gave her another chance but I clocked out when she thought Joe was nuts for saying there's no need to cut a baby's penis. Just because your tribe does it doesn't make it automatically correct and moral. She's ultra skeptical of Joe's dick cutting stance and of Tulsi (one of the only adults in the room) Gabbard? I'm done.
