  3. I wish Thomas Sowell was required reading for all people growing up. The fact he is not highlighted during Black History Month kills me. He talks about how the black community was improving by almost every metric in the early to mid part of the 20th century until the welfare state came around. And please understand that when you see comments on videos that are very negative against black people, I’m willing to bet that 99% of them absolutely love Morgan Freeman and Lil Wayne and all kinds of black people. They are just poorly wording their frustrations with people who don’t want to take any personal accountability for their plight. I’ve had friends say some pretty racist things and then I will point out that one of their best friends is from that race and they will say something like “yeah, but that’s Mike. That’s different”. There is a lot more love for you out there, even by seemingly hateful people, than you think.

What exactly and I not apologizing for? I know the premise was that I was asking for evidence and somehow it devolved into a bunch of people trying to pile on because I guess gathering facts is bad. So again, without me having to scan through 147 replies, what am I ducking an apology for?
