@vedser On 1 September 2022, Ravil Maganov, CEO of Lukoil, died after falling from a sixth-floor window at the Moscow Central Clinical Hospital. President Vladimir Putin had visited the hospital to pay respects to Mikhail Gorbachev on the day of Maganov's death. CCTV footage was not available because cameras had been "turned off for repairs". Lukoil is the second largest company in Russia after Gazprom, so the CEO is very powerful. Maganov was a very outspoken critic of Putin and the "Special Military Operation".
