  1. half-Westerner? Does that mean you were half way towards western border? Poland can be as ultraconservative as Russia, even if they're not expansionist now. It's like a gravity well. The closer you live to Russia, the more conservative countries. Hence, east Poland, east Ukraine, even east Germany. Slovakia is more conservative than Czechia, etc.
