  1. You don't sound like a supporter of Zelensky. His logic is sound. If Ukrainians had left the country instead of protesting, there would be no Euromaidan to cause President Viktor Yanukovych to flee. There's nothing wrong with leaving to be safe. The Euromaidan protests were bloody. Over a hundred protestors died. Many shot by police snipers when the protestors marched to occupy the parliament building. But don't do a disservice to those protestors who chose to stay and paid with their lives to see their protest succeed.

  2.  @Fr4ncM  You can compare the Russian regime to the Yanukovych one because they are connected which was a core reason for the Euromaidan protests and the earlier Orange Revolution in 2004. "you cannot generalize" sounds like a double standard trying to block any possible criticism. It's not like Roman's vlogs compare to The Gulag Archipelago

  3.  @BariumBlue  I suspect YouTube has a Report button that angry Ukrainians can keep pressing until some overworked reviewer decides to stamp deny to prevent it from returning again and again. Much of "YouTube" isn't YouTube doing, but angry brigading viewers.

  4.  @taxthesocialist2602  I don't think you know what Fascism is. "Leftism" is too vague to compare it with anything. Liberal left (free market freedom focus) is different from Progressive left (Social Justice freedom focus). In both cases, the Left is focused on freedom, where the Right is focused on telling others what they can't do. Anti-freedom focus, like repealing freedoms like Roe v Wade or blocking the freedom to buy a car from the manufacturer and cut out the middleman dealership. Both Texas and Michigan did that. Texas put up more barriers to the free market with the Wright Amendment. Reagan had just deregulated airlines, but big airlines at Dallas Fort Worth like American Airlines didn't want competition from newcomer Southwest at Love Field. Texas also bans cities from starting internet broadband services to compete with the big cable monopolies. Texas hates capitalism but they love big business monopolies.

I find it odd that people are so quick to assume YouTube is a single mind in a single person instead of a company of different people that is extremely understaffed for the amount of content coming in (over 720000 hours of videos every day). Roman got monetization back the first time because someone at YT agreed with him. But "the algorithm" isn't the first line of defense for YT. Viewers pressing Report are the quickest red flag in the tidal wave of content. If there are enough angry viewers, it will keep getting flagged until it runs into some reviewer in the YT "call center" who turns it down because they had a bad day. "YouTube doesn't like free thinking" is no more true than "Russia doesn't like free thinking". To claim one but not the other is a double standard.
