  6.  @cheekibreeki3946  Ukraine is doing excursions into Russia to create a buffer zone. Missiles that have to be fired farther away means the buffer zone pushes Donbas areas out of range from Russian shelling.

Russia signed the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca in 1774 promising peace with Crimea, but invaded in 1783 anyways. Or the Ukraine-Soviet War of 1917. Blaming NATO is how Moscow deflects the real idea, which is Russia thinks of itself as Master Race and its smaller neighbors as inferiors.

The Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca in 1774 promised peace with Crimea, but Russia broke that treaty and invaded Crimea in 1783. There's also the Ukraine-Soviet War of 1917.   14.  @dkrawk8309  Russia needs to get out of Ukraine. Did Russia forget how bad it lost the 1853 Crimean War? Imperial Russia went bankrupt due to their invasion of Crimea and the war that followed.
