@patrickn3595
I’m the brainwashed one? No, you’re the brainwashed one. You blindly accept your Western, regime-change propaganda. You probably know nothing about China and its people or even bothered to look into it. People like you don’t even use logical arguments. Whenever somebody challenges one of you, you just call them a “wUmAO CCp sHiLL taNkiE” Like wow. What a brilliant point!
France puts its Muslims in re-education camps too. Do you approve of France?
Oh, and which country bombs the hell out of Muslim countries and supported UN sanctions that starved half a million Iraqi children to death? The good ol’ US of A. And now all of a sudden the USA is the good guy who cares about Muslim people? Give me a break.
By the way, in a UN letter, most Muslim-majority countries have expressed support of China’s policies in Xinjiang.
There is absolutely no reliable evidence of a large-scale “genocide” occurring against Uighur Muslims... the bulk of the major allegations come from either Adrian Zenz or the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. The former is a known anti-Semitic religious lunatic and the latter is a facet of the military industrial complex that wants desperately to start a Cold War with China.
How can there be a “genocide” if the Xinjiang Uighur population is literally rising? Uighurs, and Chinese minority groups in general, are given preferential treatment in college admissions. China’s different ethnicities are celebrated in the state media. Western news sources are heavily and wrongfully biased toward China.
Chinese people CAN critically think. And their critical thinking has led them to the conclusion that they are happy with their system of government. “bUt nO dEmOCraCY!!!”
The vast majority of Chinese people see their social stability and financial prosperity as much more important than their democratic liberties. Democracy isn’t the end itself: a good life is the end. And if the CCP can offer the Chinese people a good life, then they’re happy. The CCP has lifted more than 800 million people out of poverty since 1978- lowering the 90% rate to less than 2%. Isn’t government a social contract? If they’re happy with their government, then who the hell are we to tell them what is or isn’t good for them?
The Chinese don’t want Western-style democracy. Frankly, the current state of it isn’t particularly attractive right now.
You know nothing about the true China. You’re a blind hater. And I hope you know that whenever somebody like you opens their mouth, the Chinese people love their country even more.
