  1.  @spare1793  There was a Red Barn on the outside of Welland, making their own hamburgers from beef and charging 55 cents for a regular burger. McDonalds built an outlet across the street with Ronald McDonald walking around outside, charging 25 cents for a hamburger that had one slice of dill pickle and the rest was sauce. Red Barn was gone in six months.
