Tianna Gonzales: Why are you talking about Jesus of Nazareth when you are very wrong? One of the strongest words of the prophets is that no-one will know when He is coming back. An evil empire sinking from it's own criminal weight isn't the kind of people god is known to save. All the tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, disease, poverty, evictions and gun violence are what it takes for Him to strike you down. Why did god destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? It wasn't the sexual immorality and drugs, He said He didn't see any children singing and dancing in the streets. What are Americas' children up to now?

@jordanfarias510 : If somebody is angry at Americans in California, which is easy to see as a pornographic society, what better way to create chaos and cost with arson outside? Fire is supposed to purify.

Michael Sain: Houses are made of dried old wood and trees are living with lots of moisture and sap. This is a wildfire, fast moving. The Fire Chief is saying emergency responders don't have what it takes to fight these fires.

@msain427 : Please, don't get me going. Last summer I was convinced beams from the sky started fires. I was seeing cars melting when wood fires aren't hot enough to do that. I was looking at aerial maps of subdivisions showing only buildings burnt to the ground. A house on the side of a hill in the middle of a forest could burn to the ground, but not the trees. For a while, it seemed industrial malls were being targeted. And then the California fire season was over, until now. If it makes you feel better, the taxpayers of Ontario subsidize your fire insurance, even if most of us don't want to.

@Wardell43 : You have to admit that was a lot of technical information, and it's early in the day, I'm ready to be convinced of anything as long as it's convincing. I stress the "con" in convincing. You should read "The Medium is The Message" by Professor Marshall McCluhan. He predicted the computer age and describes the mentality of humans before the Industrial Revolution. He also invented the term "global village".

@Wardell43 : I see what you're saying, but as a Scots-Canadian I see it as Americans against Americans. Many Americans get arrested for arson all over America, and the ones that want to burn public parks are the worst. There hasn't been any big fertilizer bombings lately, so that's better.
