  3. @VeckAlt: Let me be real, in the American language as defined by online spell-checks. The people of Tibet asked the Chinese to intervene in their land. One out of four Tibetans was a priest who did nothing but be a priest. Ordinary Tibetans had to work to provide them with everything, including fortress-like mansions high up in the mountains. The Dalai Lama, who fled Tibet, is an extremely wealthy man and is used by Americans as a spiritual symbol when Washington has none. If you are looking at English as a new language, partly defined by Scots, it's easy to see beyond the dialect. You can be ass-toot as an English judge. You can ass-spire to follow a priest up the steps into a cathedral. When the Roman Empire became the Holy Roman Empire, they used the Greek symbol for infinity and chopped off one side to also say it symbolized the Jewish fish. It was easy to paint on shields. Scots called that holy mackerel, a severe profanity. In any language, what is important is meaning what you say and saying what you mean, with actions counting for more than just words. Kaan (con) and kaanu, (con-nuh), ear and ears in Indian. We have both ears open.
