@MS-st1zb If you are self-employed and diligent with your paper-work, you don't have to pay taxes. That's being successful as a citizen, taking care of yourself. I'm talking about me and probably you, not coming from a position of financial wealth. You can say an elected politician is self-employed, unless they work for municipal to federal governments as a pay-check. I can't imagine the expenses an American president could have, and I wouldn't want to. The club you're talking about is the American Empire, as sourced from Washington and the Pentagon. I would pay to lose that.

@Johnny_Doe You must be bad at book-keeping, or else you're a wage slave who gets part of your pay taken away as "taxes". Saying don't hate the player hate the game is so American, a way of accepting the criminal behavior of another because you got ripped off. It's not good to be in the elite class. Wealth makes you too self-conscious about your basic presence as a person, diminishing your ability as a human, and in America, you don't gain wealth by being a good person. If taxes make you laugh your ass off you should stop before you don't have any left.

@Johnny_Doe Is that why your user name is John Doe? John Watt is my legal name. Your country is an empire. They are using "civilians" as a financial resource. If your city or state or federal government isn't creating a new expenditure, you wouldn't have to pay more taxes. That's like Henry Ford, whose cars got cheaper the longer he made them. He wasn't the first assembly line, just in the U.S., but manufacturing in America never improved after that, all about the new concept of "capitalism" and the "stock market". After your factory is paid off and your supply chain secured, costs for consumers would lower, but you don't live like that. It's not your fault, and I'm thinking you're happy with your success in life, that's really good. University is free for Scottish citizens. Get it for where you live. Where I live, to compare? Campbells' Soup was on sale for 50 cents a can this week.

The Salem Witch Trials set a lot of precedents for witch hunts. You can only be declared a witch once. This might work for Past President Trump. They passed a law that said if someone had a dream about another person, seeing them as a witch, that could be accepted as evidence in court.

You're acting like Past President Trump wasn't a Republican, fronting for those Texans. When Past President Trump said he was going to have a trade war with the world, one of the first things he did was order the assassination of a Middle East oil general. Within two months the price of an American barrel of oil was worth less than nothing. Isaac Newton is okay, but he was imagining his theories when he didn't know about electricity. Past President Trump paid taxes, just not in America. I know he paid millions each year in taxes to China, India and some to Russia. I know there was a Trump tower in Toronto, Canada, but that's it. The facade of that high-rise began to fall off the building and hit the sidewalks below before completion.

@B_Bodziak I can see him doing everything you say, and I see him as running a shadow government from Mar-a-Lago. That's not new. Texan Democrat and Republican presidents are known for not spending time in Washington.

@kifwoo1 You're hitting all the right buttons but you threw me in with everyone else. Beyond what you are saying, I live my life to love and give to others. It's almost automatic, when I give I receive. That's so nice. This apartment, this computer system with a nice scanner and printer... big time spiritual synchronicity.... anyway, if a citizen lived a life that saw the federal government delete an old British law that was used to arrest him, the province create two new laws, making it a crime for a defense lawyer for not handing in all his evidence, to making it a crime to commit a crime in the name of a criminal organization. The head crown attorney had to retire, his son, assistant crown attorney, was arrested with a judge and a criminal for cocaine distribution, money laundering and home invasion. Two criminals went to jail for life, one for sixteen years. What police called the biggest warehouse of crime was raided. Eight police were arrested. Over 1,400 residents were arrested as neighborhood lock-downs. I ran for mayor to complain about outlaw motorcycle organizations who took over Welland. That's why I moved to this new city with police protecting me in a new jurisdiction. I'm not a successful citizen. I'm only alive because I never won an election, yeah, when I never made a sign or went door-to-door as a candidate, just appearing on cable TV with them as a media supporter. @LOJOFORREAL I'm not falling hook, line and sinker about anything, unless you consider turning this computer on and logging in to You Tube. You are having mental or emotional problems if you have to come to an agreement about not "sexualizing and mutilating the children". That's against the law, serious laws. And what's with your "no chance of ever having peace between us". Does that include this computer being turned off? The only child porn I've seen online is Governor Ron DeSantis showing some, saying it shouldn't be taught in schools, and I agree, if it was. it's not. He's another Republican problem. Peace between us. My ancestors, Scots, have a country that never had any form of slavery and Scotland never attacked another country in war. University is free. Electricity, steam power, horse power, and all the other inventions from Scotland. There can be no peace between us because you use all of them.

I stopped drinking Kool-Aid in the late 1950s, because I was getting older and wasn't going to childrens' parties any more.
