  1. The word democracy, over two thousand years old, means you vote for your government, any kind of government. Talking democracy for Americans is being shallow about the republic, or empire, they live in.

  2.  @jeffhaddix9508  Two-party political systems eventually become corrupt. Angry voters vote one party out and the previously voted out party gets back in. A third political party should keep them honest, for a while.
