Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts was good for me, giving me a sense of wanting to be outside. Now that I'm a senior hiking around is not only just as much a journey, I can do it every day for free.

@dinidj A few years ago I saw there was a scandal in the United States about pedophile Scout leaders. There is no excuse for not thinking of Catholic priests as being pedophiles. That is a historic fact going back to the Roman Empire, the Holy Roman Empire, which became the Vatican. During the Crusades, the Holy Roman Empire was reduced to over 40,000 pedophile priests hiding behind Vatican walls. Life on earth would be far different is they had been slaughtered, one and all. Just because you can't see your soul, your spirit, doesn't mean someone else can't kill it or take it away as any act of sexual rape does.

Back then, priests only spoke Latin, even in foreign churches, so locals didn't understand what they said, only what they were told after services in their own language. I was only talking history before, just as I am now. English isn't my first language, Gaelic is. It was the publishing of the Holy Bible in English that caused the Reformation, the Protestants and the Crusades.
