That's stock market talk. The fall of an empire, hastened by computers, is all that is happening. The stock market is an intellectual concept that never should have become a reality. Now it's just a computer programmed cash machine for those who can get in on it, a self-perpetuating rotation of online credits and debits with no basis in manufacturing reality.

@Rhodes350 : I never noticed it myself. Thanks for pointing it out. I tend to scan Bloomberg online. I see the best of it as being breaking news for You Tube providers I look at first. And if that sounds like I'm making intelligent choices, I'm not. When I find You Tube I see "home". When I log in "home" changes, different videos. That's all I'm doing, commenting on recommended videos, looking for the latest ones first. I really like to like each one so I know I've seen it, so I don't over-infuse my brain with semi-redundant content.

Any President should not start or promote a trade war, which really is an important aspect of war overall. If rich businessmen in one country have problems with laws with other businessmen in their countries, that's a matter for the courts, not calling it an American asset that has to be protected by military defense. If these disputes are important enough for selfish, empire building countries, to fight over, that's also war. Too bad America elected a man who had never won an election or worked as a public servant. And as you have seen, dreams of wealth and graphic portrayals of wealth are only the illusions they are. Your taxes are paying for it all. Right now, it would take a tax-payer rebellion to make change for a new political party to emerge.

Jose Arroyo: Are you saying you don't see yourself becoming a global financial online resource, staying inside, shopping online, ordering take-out, watching your screens, playing computer games? Big companies are pushing for these lock-downs because they more of a variety of stock, such as groceries, qualifying as an essential service when a basic hard-ware store doesn't. That's what big box stores were designed to do, put small retailers out of business.

It was an American scientist in Wuhan who weaponized this virus, what the C.I.A. have been saying will be the next global weapon. Mike Pict: It's too easy to see you're missing the entire Picture. Washington is a global empire that uses Americans to subsidize their war efforts, just as you are paying your online and wireless bills. You are displaying a racist behavior towards seniors, just like American media with this pandemic. If you are seventy years old, a life-time non-smoker, non-drinker who didn't do drugs, how does that compare to being a twenty-year old who is high on meth and homeless?

@mikepict9011 : I agree with most of what you say, but a country that depends on the wealth and oil of other countries isn't free from anything international. When I saw the presidential debates I was surprised nobody said anything about federal aid for wildfires, making water bombers or converting military aircraft.

@mikepict9011 : I'm agreeing with everything you say except for the use of the word cult. Most would say cabal or secret organization. I can't call it the military-industrial complex any more when it's such a big part of ordinary American society. No matter what you and I say it's only going to get worse. I see what you say here and see where you're coming from, so I can agree. Cult is a bad word because it's part of culture, and culture defines human beings. Saying you are against socialism is an idiotic thing to say, jus'sayin'. Canada is officially a multi-cultural country, from natives to recent immigrants. Being heavily into semantics, sometimes I pronounce multi as "mool-tee" like the perfect woman in the Fifth Element.

Mankind was given the ability to take care of all living things and the earth with live on, far beyond being what natural selection is. What's natural selection for most Americans is who has the biggest and baddest weapon.

The getting tired part is about me, now typing that three times today. It's just a short and dictionary definition truth, when it's not a good reply for me. I know why it's not a forest. If all Americans cared as much for the west coast does as much as the west coast does, the federal government might be moved to convert current and future aircraft as water-bombers for the annual wildfires they are having. Neither candidate said anything about that during the debate.

The only reason jobless claims rose unexpectedly was because stock market types used lesser claims to prop up their stock market earnings. I have to admit, the rest of the world is impressed by the United States, seeing line-ups of luxury vehicles being used to pick up free food.

Buchanan, a Scottish Reverend, was part of my mothers' clan system. He's not a political celebrity because he didn't start the Civil War, while the president who did has a memorial that's a copy of a Roman temple for a god. You can easily tell where I'm coming from. My mothers' clan system gave the world the Holy Bible in English and the Merriam-Webster English dictionary, responsible for creating many new words, and it must have been fun doing that. You can be ass-toot like an English judge. You can ass-spire to be a Vatican priest. It's nice to be "thou art" when He gives you a heart. America needs a third political party. If stock market transactions had to be completed with hard core cash, they not only would be impractical they would be mostly illegal, if you had to ship money back and forth from offshore accounts or use only computers to generate online income.
