@StoicLoner0712 : I appreciate your appreciation of "stay humble", but your problem is you're looking at global news with the perspective only Americans have. When Russia said it was insane to try and keep up with American military spending, saying they were walking away from the cold war, Americans said Russia was collapsing as an empire. Russians called walking away from the cold war "glasnost". The Ukraine has been occupied by Russians going back to the first world war. Americans use the country of Ukraine as a market for military weapons, creating the conflict inside that country. You know Past President Trump asked the President of the Ukraine to lie about investigating Joe Biden and his son or Washington would hold back his military help. But, more than any of this, now man to man, if you're thinking feminist get into the source, read "The Female Eunuch" by Germaine Greer. You might stop saying feminist and say be affectionate instead.

@StoicLoner0712 : I'm not trying to dismiss what you're saying, getting into it myself and adding my own replies.We're just talking about the overall news, not the stories of individual people on the ground, old veterans who still remember fighting countries young people see as friends. The first Americans driving Volkswagens and Mercedes around in public found that out.

@StoicLoner0712 : I have to relate the two together because I go back to the start of the cold war, when American military aggression forced Russia and every other country to keep an arms race going, even if WW2 was over. American fantasies about Russia, from movies to news, are just that, propaganda. We are discussing content inspired by "RealLifeLore". Who's that in real life?

The United States spends more on military than the next seven biggest spending countries in the world. Are you a nation of cowards, afraid of weapons you invent?
