  1. You can become an American soldier by saying you want to kill the enemy with your gun. You can be told when you complete your tour of duty you will be given a job as a police officer. Soldiers who have been trained to kick in doors and slaughter the people inside don't make very good police officers, especially if they are wearing and using the same military clothing and weapons they used overseas, military weapons being down-graded to police forces as a way to subsidize foreign military take-overs.
