  1. Americans misuse the word democracy, as if it's their great experiment. For over two thousand years the Greek word democracy has meant you vote for your government, any kind of government. It has nothing to do with personal or national freedom or liberty. Voting for many Americans is suppressed, so seeing democracy in action in America is seeing it abused by those in power.
