@ripvanrevs Beside Lake Erie, if you are on a sand dune slanted down towards the water with darker color sand, the combined sunlight on the dark sand with the reflection of sun from the beach and water makes it very warm. You can take your shirt off but you won't get a tan. I couldn't do that this morning, too windy, but I can now. And in case you think this is some tough young stud talking, I'm not, I'm seventy-one. And around here, considering where I live, I'm known as a beaver whisperer.

For two days the "red bell" that shows I have new replies wasn't working, and I wasn't seeing all the comments and replies here. You gave me an idea. I'm always criticizing people for being red or blue, left or right, you know what I mean, simple words being used in a divisive way. I say it's better to be a centrist as being in the middle, and you know the saying sitting on the fence means you haven't decided yet. Considering the confusion and baffle-gab of social media, I have a new position, sitting on duh-fence. Thanks for that.

@Charles K I might be going off-topic, but you are informed enough to ask your opinion. The British Invasion was a cultural invasion, literally, as much as an economic war. Now, a Korean band is the best-selling musical act in America, and do you see a similarity between the BeaTleS and BTS, as much as The Back Street Boys and The Strays? Or does the glint of British royalties still dazzle my musicians' brain?

@barbara7611 The United States has extra-territorial laws that over-ride the laws of the countries they are in. There are no extradition laws in America for financial crimes committed in foreign countries. And what I'm describing is on paper, not floating around the internet. American tax-payers paid to build the world wide web but you don't get any financial benefits.

Republican politicians in Florida began to show pornographic material depicted as grade school learning books, said teachers were describing their sexual behaviors with students, over-rode a judge at a swimming event so a trans athlete was denied first place, and then all of a sudden Disney became "woke" and a bad player in Florida.... real estate. Are you still with me? Disney doesn't have to try and sway politics when they inspire a society based on their entertainment. When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, everything your heart desires, will come true. I hope it does for you. That looked good even in the old black and white television days.

@dp9629 Is it too much for me to state that you are talking about this, just like Republican politicians are talking about this, when it's not happening in real life? The rest of the world does not call that grooming because the rest of the world doesn't have to turn words into slogans to justify political fund-raising. I was being personal with advice about using the word grooming as political rhetoric, because as a person you are diluting the strength of your own vocabulary. That's like saying your left or right, and the left says the right is wrong and the right says the left is wrong, when, in all reality, you can't have a left without a right or a right without a left. And to be further personal with you, I see this differently than you because I was born left-handed. He weak can your words be when simple words are used instead of descriptions of policies and works for the betterment of all?
