  1. The Dalai Lama is promoted by the American government as a "spiritual" alternative to China, a country the Americans would like to take out. It's not. Before the Chinese take-over of Tibet, over one in four Tibetans was a monk. The rest of the population was working to supply them with all their needs, including huge and luxurious palaces when workers lived like feudal peasants. Americans aren't told reality.
