  1. Saying you can't prove what is in someone's mind is a good, overall argument, but I saw a moment that goes beyond that. Marjorie Taylor Greene was asked about something she said and she said she didn't remember. When the lawyer asked for a video to be called up by the evidence number, Marjorie Taylor Greene interjects and starts talking about it as if she does remember what it says because she doesn't want the video played. That proves prior memory about what she said and proves she is lying on the stand.

What you think is weird is what occured, saying I don't remember but then being shown what she said she didn't remember, something I don't see as proof of lying, just not remembering. So many comments about saying someone that forgetful shouldn't be elected made me discount that as another version of taking the 5th.

What I ended up seeing as a version of pleading the 5th I now see as contempt for court, what you are saying now. I just saw news about the Supreme Court leaking a document for the first time, an opinion about overturning Roe vs. Wade. It is being said that will become the biggest issue in the next election, when there are so many more important issues Washington should be dealing with. How pathetic is that?

Abortion has been a big issue in American politics all of my life, and I thought Americans, as law, had put it behind them, as far as respecting the rights of the individual woman. It was always described as a hot-button issue, when it never should have been one. If abortion does become the biggest concern of the next election, it just shows how much of a failure Washington sees itself as, trying to deflect public attention away from the fall of the American Empire. If I was president I'd be talking about building more water bombers, providing more tornado and flood relief and working for more drought irrigation. That's the most basic infrastructure you need to take care of.

A city has a business street where a local family starts a successful hamburger style restaurant. A capitalist will say an outside franchise, or offshore company, that sees this hamburger success, has the right to build a new restaurant across the street to take their business away. A socialist would say we have this business already and you need to find your own customer base elsewhere. Here in Welland Ontario, the Red Barns' cheapest hamburger, making their own patties with real beef, cost 55 cents. MacDonalds started up across the street with a fake hamburger that cost 25 cents. Six months later the Red Barn closed. Capitalism is just about money, socialism is about money and people. Speaking about education, university in Scotland is free for citizens, almost everyone having a masters degree. In Japan, educators invest your university tuition and give it back to you after you graduate. If you're not trying to build an offshore empire you can build your own onshore society.

  43. This is perfectly understandable by me. Kyle Rittenhouse committed a horrendous act, murdering a human. That creates a spiritual dilemma only murderers and assassins of humans experience. From within those depths of moral depravity, suddenly he is a hero on FOX News and for the self-righteous white activists and Black Lives Matter haters, making him a media hero. That can only create serious self-righteousness, especially considering he didn't have to pay for his crime, when prison time would only have humbled him.
