If all you do is use a credit card for free points, paying on time all the time, not only are you beating the odds you're not using a credit card for how they were designed, taking advantage of the concept of this new plastic as having some plastic in your pocket, what people said back then. Here in Ontario, Canada, I was partially responsible for Rexall losing their "Air Miles" plastic card points program, now called "Be Well", after employees had the same complaints as myself. Those were the first plastic credit cards in America, for airplane flights, now air miles is generic, even offered by a drug store. Now it's links from financial institutions to get points. I only use my card at Rexall, not having any prescriptions, for chocolate bars and snacks on sale, with discount stickers. Using my one bank card as paying, I get Rexall points and the bank gives me four times as much. As a senior with some free transactions each month, I'm getting the points without losing on transactions. You talk points, seniors get the most, even if many senior are computer and plastic card resistant, like me.
