The United States is different. Defense lawyers aren't employees of the court. They can do anything they want to get a client off or find a fix, not justice. They also don't have to hand in all their evidence to the court. They can harass and personalize their questioning of the witness, instead of just asking for their witness testimony.

@Ahayah Asher Ahayah I hope you aren't putting all your faith into this prayer because it's more catholic than christian. What did the sign over His head say on the cross, it wasn't "He died for your sins". Jesus of Nazareth said to pray for your enemies. He said it is futile to pray for yourself, because if God thought you needed something He would have given it to you already. You are transgressing the will of God already by publishing here, using the technology of an evil empire. May you feel the shame necessary to uplift your conduct.

@imcorrectyourwrong5132 I disagree, even if I'm sure different States have some differences in court procedure. The prosecution, as court employees, have to hand in all their evidence, working with the police and the judge. If the defense has any requests at all they go to the court, not the prosecution. I'm having a psychic thought. You might be watching too much "Better Call Saul".
