I have noticed a trend, people calling someone with a gun a "good Samaritan". People are trying to make you associate a Holy Bible story with this American gun violence. The good Samaritan is a story about a rich person from a different tribe who stops to help a poor person who isn't in his tribe, someone injured beside the road. No violence or weapons are featured.

@SLickev92 Good question. What do you call someone who stops to save lives? The first word I think of is hero, but in America there are too many heroes who are just people doing their jobs, like firemen and police. Someone with a gun waiting to shoot someone isn't a savior, and death isn't something to walk away from. Americans need to invent a new word for a gunman who doesn't work for law enforcement, but acts that way.

At least I wasn't shot at.

@tonysmith2045 You can say "someone with a gun hopes to never use it", when everyone else who sees someone with a gun, cleaning it, storing it, bringing it out and taking it to a practice range, is just getting ready to use it. Is this a "red flag"? Should I report you as a potential suicide? It's one thing to quote Jesus of Nazareth, it's another to live a life worth sacrificing.
