  1. I'm having a hard time thinking about the deer, seeing how dented the truck is when the deer hit it with its rib-cage. It didn't seem to be injured when it jumped out.

  2. I hit a deer with my bicycle. It was dark and the road was darker, in the shadow of a forest on both sides. I was going slow, bike-hiking. I heard clattering in front of me and hit the side of what had to be a pregnant deer, thinking it was laying on the road because it was still warm. And yes, this is a Lake Erie shore story.
