  2. I don't know where the term "gerrymandering" came from. How's this, filibuster? When you break a bronco, a male horse, a rider rides him until he gets tired and gives in, bronco-busting. When you break a filly, a female horse, a rider with a rope leads her around a round corral until she gets tired and gives in, filly-busting. That's where filibuster came from, letting another politician talk as much as they want until they get tired and give up.
