  1. None of these vaccines is a cure. A vaccine, hopefully, prevents death and the worst symptoms. You can be vaccinated and still get Covid and you can transmit it, just like pets and other animals. There never was an overall federal response to the pandemic, and it never was contained. Letting Americans get out as if their lives are becoming normal again is an irresponsible attitude.
