In the late seventies, when it was the information highway, the first hacker use of online was created by Americans, calling it "piggy-backing", creating a secondary signal to monitor other computer use and allow the use of other computer capacities. The fact that Americans spend more on military than online security is what allows foreign players to use it against them, what for me is a level playing field.
