@pioneerprepper2048 If you don't feel over-whelmed why are you suggesting other people will feel over-whelmed after reading what you published? What over-whelmed you to make you type so much? You have to realize life in the United States is far different from most other countries, mass shootings being the first example that comes to mind, so far, 34 mass shootings in the first three weeks of this new year. I can tell you've never been homeless.

@pioneerprepper2048 I'm not disagreeing with what you said, just not seeing the practicality of publishing it here. I know many people who have a years' supply of food stored, going through it and replacing it as they go along. Mormons are encouraged to keep a years' worth of food. There are also many videos showing people living and cooking outside, as recreation, cultural or survival. Maybe you should try one of those, doing a walkabout while you describe different lifestyles. You definitely have enough to share.

@pioneerprepper2048 Are you targeting people you say are scared while also feeling helpless, or you do you think everyone is like that? I remember when building a bomb shelter was considered part of a successful American family, back when they were called ?nuclear families". All that fear of atomic war, all the cost of pouring concrete for bomb shelters, storing food and necessary items, and they were never used.

@pioneerprepper2048 You have to refocus about saying scary times. It's easy. What you call scary times, food shortages, no milk for babies, no medications, is what your government is doing as part of the war in Europe. You should do what your government is wanting you to do, go along with these shortages as being a patriot, sacrificing for the Ukraine. And please, don't think I would even suggest you taking your guns over there to fight like an American soldier. That's deeply frightening. Now that the United States isn't the only country with nuclear weapons, Americans can't say they're number one any more, and the nuclear weapons aiming at America were inspired by American nuclear proliferation. All of this has been happening since before you were born, not becoming more of a fear, just a fact of life. Bomb shelters bombed out and cost lives, children accidentally locking themselves in. What do you think is going to become of all this free You Tube font?

@pioneerprepper2048 I never disagreed with that, just the fear-mongering aspect of it. Being an American means you're supposed to be happy these foreign take-overs don't involve war on American soil. You're in control over there, nothing to be afraid of. The only difference you'll probably see is a change in logos for your gas stations. If I'm going to be touched by a bit of self-induced paranoia, I'll be thinking about a man-cave like a rec room, with a big screen and a 100 watt Marshall stack, not some survivalist cave in remote mountain range. And in case you're wondering, blueberries are my favorite freezer food.

@pioneerprepper2048 The way life is today just saying fear is adding to the already over-saturated fear mongering in the United States. That's like protesting nuclear weapons, when the planet is so irradiated a Geiger counter goes off anywhere on earth. You might think I'm being too generic, but are people assaulting each other and shooting each other where you live? Are there murders, rapes and robberies you have learned to live with? I moved to another city to get away from criminals. Some fear was involved.

@pioneerprepper2048 You used the word fear again, even if you say there's no fear involved. You are correct about saying it's wise to do these things, it is, and I live my life with a view to, not only immediate reality, but the coming reality, something You Tube helps me see. If I look back with some sadness, I wish I had planted ever-bearing raspberries and black cherry trees everywhere I take a break along the lake and around the peninsula. Life could be better.

@pioneerprepper2048 I thought you were gone. I'm getting ready for a hike to Niagara Falls, all day, and dropping $5 for the bus rides back here. Instead of an expensive holiday for a week or two every year, I like to have mini-vacations around here, getting out all day and through the night, never hitting the 48 hour mark. Going through the seasons along Lake Erie is living with nature. That is a good day. I know you're having one already.

@zuzupetals4794 No, no, not at all. I'm very competitive and I like to win. I grew up playing ball-hockey with a tennis ball in our basement with my father and brothers, and that grew into high school friends getting together for a big game every Sunday afternoon, from noon until six, always a tough game to score or win. If I'm losing at the start that's because I'm being a nice guy and letting other people get into the game, before I start to become left-handed and put it all away, thinking pool. I have also walked the streets of my city, homeless, no winter clothes in the winter, very sick, no-where to go and nothing to eat, just trusting that if criminals can do this to me some good people will show up to help. It took a while but I'm still here, now ready for round eight.
