This is what America did to start a war with Japan. Americans took over islands, saying it's not your territory, before the American public knew what they were doing. The American public didn't have the radios for that. Now this American is saying The South China Sea isn't their sovereign territory. I don't think I have to say what Americans would say if Chinese said the Pacific Ocean isn't American territory.
