It's not about less police officers most of the time, it's about police not needing to buy used military weapons and equipment from overseas wars. Think about this. If American military buys Russian fighter jets and gives them to the Ukraine and surrounding countries, and American fighter jets shoot them down, were Americans fighting Russians or are Americans creating a market for weapons manufacturing profit? This story is just beginning. Let's see how it plays out.
