  1. @Wildland_Firefighter You say adapts and adapting sounds like a good thing. The earth isn't adapting to the pollution of mankind, it's reacting. If you have any doubt about global warming you should visit the Niagara Peninsula, where the greatest benefit of global warming is being felt. The Great Lakes don't freeze any more, moderating the temperature, now warmer than Florida. And it's nice in the winter, when trees don't have leaves, seeing all the birds that don't fly south.

  2.  @jabreck1934  What about rushin'in some new information, about Californias' biggest grow region losing topsoil and becoming infertile because of the over-use of fertilizers? What about farmers who can't irrigate their fields any more because of the drought? And does buying unripe produce overseas and irradiating it for resale count as California crops? When California food experts start saying kelp, is that another word for help? The strawberry fields along Lake Erie were flooded last year, no strawberries. I hope it's different this year.
