@straightforward3330 You got me thinking rational. You're correct, the moose didn't cry out in pain. What I'm thinking now is look at the moose, dropping his antlers in a very casual way, not looking for privacy in the forest. I used to think a moose would have to ram his antlers to break them off, like losing a tooth.

@joshriver75 I see you're not willing to be generic about human birth. I was born a month overdue by natural childbirth. Most women don't carry full term now, and the United States has the highest rate of miscarriages in human history. I know native woman who can squat to have their baby, and go back to work. It was the Dark Ages that changed human metabolisms, weakening Europeans and Mediterraneans, why there are different births, human diseases and allergies.
