  1. I call volcanoes the pimples of the earth. How's this? If you're draining oil and water and everything else that comes up with deep well drilling, when you're creating huge empty caverns that are spaces like deep lakes and rivers, draining the oil, wouldn't you think the earth's crust would settle down with gravity, and that pressure could be driving what lava is near the surface to erupt? That's a legitimate question.
