@wladicus1 : I am feeling cheerful. Let me add, have you ever read Professor Marshall McCluhan? In "The Media is The Message" he describes a pre-Industrial Revolution mind-set, and the effect of modern media and global computer use on the human mind and society. About my guitar playing: I say I make sounds like Jimi Hendrix and riff off like John Coltrane and Nicolo Paganini, and so far no-one disagreed. In our Scottish clan system being a "changeling" is very desirable trait. Let me be informative for you. In 1980, a friend, Professor John McCallum, Electronics at York University signed a years' contract with China. He went over to help build their internet and write the university curriculum. China is the only country with a sovereign online, able to shut off the rest of the world. A Lebanese computer expert told me last week that America spends too much money on military and not enough for online security, why it's being used against you. I better stop typing. Bay-an-uck-let, blessings on you in Gaelic, from the weir'd and wire'd.

@JTuaim : You say Cleveland and I think of the Cleveland Browns, my fathers' favorite football team. Moxie was a hard rock band, maybe with the same talent as Foghat and Bad Company. As a Toronto band, Ontarios' capital, they advertised themselves as being bigger than Z.Z. Top in Texas. If I recommended a band from that era I would say Max Webster, taking it to the Max, a great live band. Lighthouse, a communal effort with horns, were also hot in a mellow way. Max Webster, Coming off the Moon, LIghthouse, One Fine Morning. I would say Steppenwolf but they moved to California. Magic Carpet Ride and Born to be Wild. Good music is always magic, but back then record companies paid bands to record so they could make money selling records. That was better.
