I have an 850 square foot apartment I pay $800 a month for, my rent not going up in the last three years. I have free hot water, and after I paid my first hydro bill and applied for a senior subsidy, I've been building a hydro credit ever since. My rent not going up this year surprised me because a new bathtub and liner was installed, and that's expensive.
