@clearlycaribbeanreb2895 I didn't tell myself that. I watched the news when it happened. Again, it was supposed to help catch tax evaders, mostly the rich.

@genesispuredeaf2390 What world are you living in? The top two percent of American taxpayers control the economy, owning the wealth, and they don't pay taxes. One of Trumps' constant statements is removing taxes from the rich. Why are you an apologist?

@genesispuredeaf2390 I appreciate your descriptive and lengthy reply, but it's not my reality. The rich in America are known for not paying income tax. Let's talk about me. When a band I was in began to get write-ups in newspapers with a photo, I wondered how I was doing my income tax when I got paid as band leader, paid the other musicians, with the cost of the p.a. and vans, with some lights. I included a letter and photocopies of newspaper articles, showing a contract copy, saying I paid other musicians, paid expenses, and the money I'm declaring is what I got paid. I didn't have any receipts or names for musicians, just expenses. It went through. How's that for you?

@genesispuredeaf2390 I don't associate a lot of money with being rich, and not having a lot as being poor. As far as taxes go, everyone is paying them every time you buy something. Here's some money talk. I'm seeing YouTube ads with, I think, Christina Freidland, the finance minister for the Canadian government. She says if you send her $350 she guarantees a passive income of $10,000 a week. Sometimes I'm thinking she's not saying what I'm hearing, really making me not sure. If you're self-conscious about getting help... don't get old.
