I thought most Americans didn't trust, or completely trust, their police services. I don't blame them.

When I first began watching You Tube over two years ago the fire videos always were investigated, a big part of the story. Most of the fires were caused by humans, on purpose and by accident, and then one hydro provider was criticized for not updating equipment, transformers were blowing. I haven't heard much more since then.

@GenZFinancial If you think a police officer has enough training with an intelligent outlook on acting as a police officer, you won't be shooting to kill someone before he tries to shoot you. It's simple but it's true. In the wild west when the fast gun ruled, a Marshall wouldn't shoot unless shot at first, even if they were standing face -to-face. Now many Americans get off on thinking they can sniper shoot and kill someone who doesn't even know you are there.

@anthonyvasquez7062 When men were men in the wild west, and fast guns walked the streets, a U.S. Marshall would not shoot unless shot at first. Europeans say the last acts of a gentleman at war were pilots in WW1, who would not kill another pilot if when they were parachuting down, or keep shooting to kill the pilot when his plane was going down. Remember David and Goliath, Brad Pitt fighting the giant, that kind of thing, warriors fighting as men. Americans have pre-programmed drones that observe and shoot to kill if they see a pre-programmed stereo-type, being accused in foreign countries for faulty programming that allow wrongful deaths. Your tax dollars pay for that.

@samizdat113 What you said is only logical and practical for modern air combat. I'm thinking of WW1, where you pulled your parachute open after exiting the plane, and they were big and puffy, pilots describing themselves as sitting ducks. Some countries had a policy of killing the pilots, saying they can always build another plane but they might not find a pilot.

@samizdat113 The P51 Mustang was the only big and expensive airplane model I had as a teenager. I thought it looked better than a Spitfire. Some first world war pilots carried a rifle to take shots at pilots in parachutes, or their gunner did.

@samizdat113 No, it's not an urban legend, and I doubt if I could find any references. The pilots of WW1 are said to be the last gentleman fighters, respecting the lives of pilots while trying to take out a war machine.

Maybe thirty years ago in New York, two white police officers shot a black man, an elderly black man, who was standing on the top of his stairs with his groceries, ready to go in. They shot him 44 times and weren't arrested for murder. Murder in the United States, you can define it many ways.

@Brad Michaels: When are you going to start fighting about having to take a drivers' test before you can get a drivers' license? The bare minimum for trying to control the virus is everyone wearing a mask in public, social distancing and disinfecting your hands when you enter a building. If Past President Trump had conducted a federal response like that at the start you would have less than half the deaths you have now, with a population who understood the seriousness of this pandemic. Instead it became about stock market moves for cures and vaccines.

What I said about virus control is what is happening in Canada, only with plastic shields between cash register employees, bus drivers, bank tellers and customers. Medical experts say Past President Trumps' mishandling of the pandemic caused the unnecessary deaths of over 300,000 Americans. I could keep amplifying my previous comment to justify my publishing, but something tells me you don't care and don't want to.

@user-mv9tt4st9k : Talking about the good real old days, after The Jimi Hendrix Experience finished playing at Maple Leaf Gardens, Jimi and Mitch went to an all-night hostel in downtown Toronto where a band was playing. Jimi was asked to play guitar but he said he had been playing guitar all day and felt like playing bass. Mitch sat at a table playing bongos on the table-top. I was there. No police were involved.
