There were a lot of old black and white movies that were about traveling evangelists, exposing them as frauds. Robin Williams made a modern movie like that, just not as hard-hitting. A modern version would be very relevant today.

@dayglowjim The original comment said "Jesus was crucified for essentially just saying "be nice to each other". Jesus of Nazareth never said that. People say Jesus died on the cross for their sins. That's not why he was crucified, and if you have any doubts, the sign over his head, on the cross, said "King of the Jews", why he was crucified.

The sign on the cross over his head said "King of the Jews".

@dayglowjim Are you familiar with Palm Sunday? Jesus of Nazareth went to that city, riding in on a donkey, so He would fulfill Jewish prophecy about a great king who emerges to take them back to being a country. That's why he was crucified by the Romans, their sign over His head saying "King of the Jews". If you can't accept that, don't worry about sin and sinning, for you know not what you do.

@dayglowjim I'm sorry if you think I'm condescending. When you consider Jesus of Nazareth as a heavenly messiah it's too easy to get poetic about it. He talked about eternity, so it was part of His reputation. A favorite quote: "Consider the lilies of the valley, they neither reap nor do they sow, and yet Solomon, in all his glory, is not arrayed such as one of these".

@dayglowjim There are other books that detail the appearance of Jesus of Nazareth. If you don't want to understand the history of the Holy Bible and deny the activities of Jesus of Nazareth, it's up to you. You said "today the Christians would crucify Him all over again". Christians didn't crucify him the first time.

@dayglowjim It would have been better if you stopped at "I'm aware". Looks like you don't know the language of the Garden of Eden is still being spoken, the descendants of Holy Bible people still exist, and where they live. It would be interesting to see who you call American Christians.
