@suebursztynski2530 I appreciate your answer, but speculation isn't the most appropriate way to comment when so many sad deaths are involved. I wouldn't blame a parent unless the parent gave him a gun and asked him to kill other people. They bought the gun legally. They kept it in their house legally, and probably had legal carry in public where they live. All it took was the boy taking the gun out of the house, a simple and easy action. If I was to speculate, I'd say he transitioned from being war game player to the real thing. Another teenage mass shooter was asked why all of his shots were head shots, and he said he grew up playing war games.

@catalhuyuk7 "Forced to send their children to school due to economic factors". You are talking about schools, a building, without talking about professional teachers. I know you're not one. Many American children get a free lunch at school or they would go hungry.

Changing the government in Washington won't change the rest of America. You should meet your local politicians and look them in the eye and shake their hand, and ask them what they can do to make your life better.
