As a former professional musician who worked through agents and managers, sometimes filling in for another guitarist who left suddenly, this Republican convention is going to be like the break-up of a band, where the lead singer who got too stoned and brought the band down is still acting like the rock star front man, but the rest of the band has to decide who to move on with to keep their gigs going.
