  1. Saying safest from climate change sounds good, but how about the best benefits of climate change? Here in the Niagara Peninsula the average temperature is now warmer than Florida. Birds stopped flying south over thirty years ago, and I'm riding my bicycle without a winter coat in December and January. That's because the Great Lakes Erie and Ontario don't freeze over any more, moderating the temperature.

  2.  @Acccountable  I remember that, the Great Lakes almost freezing over. When I was a teenager people could drive a car onto the ice, cut a fishing hole, and sit in the car with the heater on, fishing out the window.
