When the Toyota is sold at 120,000 miles it still has significant value because while looked after it easily has another 120,000 miles that can be put on it. This is not likely for the Tesla. At some point during the next 120,000 miles the battery will need to be replaced the cost of which is roughly equal to the cost of a new Tesla. The Toyota has no such cost. I'm driving 2003 MK1 Volvo XC90 and it's at 315.000 kilometres. Tranmission is new and my garage did maintenance on engine. It's 165hp , 2.4d5, but a beast for me.

The only hidden costs are revealed after 4-5 years of usage. Nothing showed here. Battery costs enough equals 10 year worth maintenance of normal Toyota Camry. Also, EV tech is still new and those cars going to lose their value and losing value so rapidly

And most engines are designed to last 7million kilometres. Volvo says 9 million kilometres guaranteed. "Designed" isn't reality. Watch the news you cave man. People are spending 50k$ on new batteries. What you designed saying is Elon making it up lmfao. Watch people burning tesla's because of high costs of battery replacement. Also, your cycles only goes for not going beyond %80. For maximum life , you have to go around %50. Enjoy spending your life at %50
