@batandball617 Yeah, the traffic should definitely be reduced, but it will probably take a few years until people will give up on the idea of owning a vehicle. There's plenty of trust to be built in Tesla's autonomous driving capability (plenty of people don't care about statistics but rely on personal experience), then having a car exactly when you need it will also play a major role - robotaxi availability will be paramount for this. And of course we'll need proper laws to enable self driving vehicles everywhere. Because especially in Europe, a road trip around 2-3 countries might be tedious if you have to give up on a Tesla for a rental requiring a human driver just because not all the countries have the laws in place. And Europe is more conservative (and maybe more bureaucratic?) in plenty of ways compared to the USA, so we need a hefty amount of hope to see all of this done in a timely manner. :)

@FutureAzA If you lived in Europe, maybe you've been in parking lots next to hypermarkets like Kaufland, LIDL, etc. A Porsche Cayenne, for instance, is a bit oversized for such parking places. It fits, but if you want to get it out and it's between two other Cayennes, you're stuck. That's where the Tesla summon would be essential if you don't want to (or can't) enter your vehicle through your trunk - which would be ridiculous anyway. And many private garages are better suited for smaller vehicles. So if you want to park your Cayenne, everyone else but the driver have to climb out the vehicle before entering the garage, because there's not enough room to exit both sides without banging the doors on the garage walls. It's pretty much the same across Europe - lots of countries and almost the same surface as the USA. Pretty much everything's tighter here as a result. And then there are cities and towns even tighter, that would make it physically impossible even for the 3% smaller Cybertruck to simply enter the street - Spain, Italy and France are good examples of that.

@jbil76 True, but that's not the same everywhere. Also, the lane width in the UK and Ireland would give many Americans a rather claustrophobic feeling. Seeing those huge buses drive through the traffic next to you, when you're not used to those lanes, can be unsettling. :))

@batandball617 Driving is not the issue, but the private parking spaces for the most part. And those having small garages prefer medium or small sized vehicles.
