  1. I bought an AR today....(deep breath) Failure to extract on 3rd 5th, 8th etc... All the way to 20 then I took it to the bench. Called a buddy who swears on his AR. He asked what ammo was I using. Says he only runs American Eagle 5.56. Great I think to myself. My saiga 5.45 eats whatever I feed it, including steel cased surplus spam cans from 78'. I also discover that the AR requires some type of lubricant other than dirt sand and carbon buildup. I'm sure one day I'll find the right combination of parts, ammo, weather conditions to make it through an entire magazine without practicing a malfunction drill. Being a long time AK guy I thought these were just myths and folklore. I thought clearing malfunctions were just a show to look tacticool. Anyone have a saiga AK for trade may consider a WASR and cash? I've got a brand new AR15, only fired once or twice.
