  3. Well that oil in Alberta is already being moved by rail and trucks. There is a massive buildup of rail cars happening to do the job the pipeline was going to do. That equates to tens of thousands of good paying jobs. Why do you think they want the pipeline in the first place.

  6.  @SarcasticCynic  I wasn't commenting on the environmental impacts was I? He was talking about jbs so I responded with jobs. Honestly, environmentally, the pipeline is worse. The transport is the bottleneck right now and rail can never move it as fast as the pipeline could. Seeing as it's garbage oil and we are moving away from oil it is likely it will never be fully extracted and thus being the best option environmentally.
