@chrisgullett4332 more tobacco than ever? Not being consumed by us it isn't. I could see for export bit not domestic consumption because there are far fewer smokers now than 30 years ago. Taxing them worked

@chrisgullett4332 But that has fallen steadily over time. From 2005 to 2014, the adult smoking rate declined from 20.9 percent to 16.8 percent. Public health officials are hoping to to drive that rate below 12 percent by 2020.

If you bothered looking it up you would have read that the 12 year mark is the point of no return. Honestly, I doubt you're smart enough for a more in-depth explanation so I won't bother.
