@cryhavoc1879 you do realize,e it is almost impossible for a war to start here right? First off the means of communication in order to organize would be shut off. Second, the national guard and local police would tamp it out before it got too big.

@cryhavoc1879 the national guard can be federalized at a moments notice. Plus the military could be used if it got bad. I could see some defections from the military bit only some. Most would still follow.their orders and do what they're told. Communication is regional but power and internet are not always and can be shut down in times of crisis. Ya there would be nukes everywhere but the launching infastructure for them is centralized in the white house. The red states would also have a huge cash problem that would lead to a quick end if war ever started.
