Read up on red line laws, jim crow Era laws and the GI bill as examples from this century how this was done

When the US government created the ability for Americans to obtain a mortgage in the 1920's or 30's (can't remember), it was specifically written that black people could not get one. Not only that, it also stated if there was even ONE black family on the block then a mortgage could not be obtained on the property. Where do you think the ghettos came from?

They proved what we knew all along, democrats pay for this nation not Republicans. It's always been that way, so ya, I say not only the electoral college but also the disproportionate clout you guys get in the senate. Democrats are not only the majority, proven by every popular vote in the last 30 years for potus, but we pay for this country aswell.

  25.  @zoso2850  I am not talking about taxes I am talking about GDP. Because of the far busier economy of blue counties their tax base is obviously higher. The economic hubs of America have always been the blue areas. That's just a fact and because they have to help pay for basic infastructure in red counties too they need to collect more in taxes. If they didn't have that financial obligation they wouldn't need to collect so much in taxes or better the lives of the people who actually pay them.
