Chris see that's the thing, if the Supreme Court goes against set precident in laws like vaccine mandates and abortion that's going to swing the population towards wanting to expand the courts. I think it was something like 68% of America support womens right to choose. The vaccine thing has similar support and will only strengthen the case for expansion

@nachoburrito4577 with a little luck Republicans will never run this country again
2
@blacksabfan I agree, I love your cheese.
2
Pfft. Trumpers were horrible to ginsberg
2
@Lil jon umm that's why the reply function is there

Hope it happens
1
@heavyd777 depends. Newstrom is safe now and it's looking like if the Supreme Court touching abortion rights has pissed alot of people off. I think, if democrats message it right, Republicans might have a hard time next year
1
@Rich-kp1eu like I said, if they touch abortion you can bet your life savings it will happen.
1
@paulochaves5827 people understand there is a massive pandemic right now. That's the reason Biden was elected in the first place. Yes he has lost support but he is still 10 points higher than trump was at this time. The California recall looking like it's going to newstrom in a landslide is the canary in the coal mine in my opinion. I don't think Republicans will do as well as you think seeing as they are defending far more seat than dems are
1
@Rich-kp1eu he will be recalled by his own party if he doesn't. Can you recall a senator?
1
@Rich-kp1eu the message is, Republicans are blocking abortion. Stay on track now. We wernt talking about the border
1
@bigkingspeakerdwestemperor5068 how do you know they're not?
1
Randall Flag ya I didn't think so. But I will tell you this, democrats are pissed at him and want him out
1
@-Amiya- wow. I missed that. I will check it out. Thanks
1
@-Amiya- I just found a Washington post article saying last month they would start vaccinating migrants.
1
@blacksabfan that's a matter of opinion. I want to turn America into the economic powerhouse California is. With the money we can deal with social problems
1
@parallax9281 who? Democrats? Believe me if that ever happened democrats would be marching on Washington with you
1
@Rich-kp1eu ya, that's all California is. Just like all Wyoming is wheat right? All of Texas is oil rigs? Just dumb
1
@blacksabfan dude, California's GDP is almost double that of Texas. It's not even close. New York on the other hand is closer to the size of Texas.
1
@parallax9281 like I said, if it happened I would be with you brother. I just don't think it will.
1
@blacksabfan ya California does have many problems. Big cities have big problems. But remember, that gdp from the big states like California, Texas and New York is the reason we are the strongest military in the world. You don't buy aircraft carriers with cheese.
1
@Democraps_are_narrow-minded you again!
1
@taylorlatch2635 exactly
1
@rosenthaldiscount vaccine mandates are lawful. According to the Supreme Court anyways.
1
Chris for anyone.
1
Chris yes it is. This goes back to polio when a Swedish turned American immigrant tried to avoid the mandated shot on health grounds. The Supreme Court overwhelmingly 7-2 voted the liberties of one do not trump the liberties of all. I am paraphrasing here. This is the exact wording, Justice John Marshall Harlan delivered the decision for a 7–2 majority that the Massachusetts law did not violate the Fourteenth Amendment.[2] The Court held that "in every well ordered society charged with the duty of conserving the safety of its members the rights of the individual in respect of his liberty may at times, under the pressure of great dangers, be subjected to such restraint, to be enforced by reasonable regulations, as the safety of the general public may demand" and that "[r]eal liberty for all could not exist under the operation of a principle which recognizes the right of each individual person to use his own [liberty], whether in respect of his person or his property, regardless of the injury that may be done to others."[2]
1
Chris I would think it's the same reasoning behind the draft being constitutional. I haven't looked that up though
1
Chris the case was in 1905 if you want to look it up Jacobson vs Massachusetts
